Rotary Around The World 

The first Rotary club was founded in 1905 by the attorney Paul Harris in Chicago.  The Rotary movement has grown to more than 35,000 clubs and over 1.2 million members.  Rotary members believe that we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues. We work together to:

• Promote peace

• Fight disease

• Provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene

• Save mothers and children

• Support education

• Grow local economies
